The name of the game is a misnomer

edit

Despite the name of the game, the machine does not play the game of Nim, and it's inappropriate to provide a link to the article about Nim without further explanation. I won't edit the article now, since that would seem to involve original research, but the article is certainly in need of editing. The game which the machine does play is better described as a "subtraction game." Note that this game is described in one of the later sections of the Wikipedia article on Nim, as follows: "In another game which is commonly known as Nim (but is better called the subtraction game)…" Ishboyfay (talk) 16:46, 8 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

It is commonly known as Nim. The game here is called Dr.Nim, you see the substraction game mostly referred to as Nim. Sometimes "Single pile nim" So there is not a single reason to not call it Nim. Get over yourself ---2001:9E8:8D53:EF00:4DC5:304A:F5FB:60B0 (talk) 10:54, 22 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
