Driffield Steam And Vintage Rally
editAutochthony queries: is it possible to have a rough time-frame [e.g. 'late March' or 'mid-September' for this locally significant event? Autochthony queriesd - 2216z 2011.01.25. 86.129.157.144 (talk) 22:15, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- Done Only six years later but I've added this. It seems to be each August. Lineslarge (talk) 19:51, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
Driffield Show - clarification
editThe article states The town is home to the country's largest one-day annual agricultural show,. Is "the country" the UK or England? (I'm thinking of the Great Yorkshire Show, which is England's largest agricultural show, but is outclassed in visitor numbers by both the Royal Highland Show and the Royal Welsh Show). Either way, the claim requires citation. 213.122.91.121 (talk) 22:37, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
- Done I've clarified and added citations. It's the UK. Also those other shows you mention are multi-day. Lineslarge (talk) 15:25, 12 August 2017 (UTC)

Climate
editI'm assuming the record temperatures are an average for a 24-hour period?? As I've been in Driffield in the middle of summer & it was considerably warmer than just over 22C? It must have been warmer this summer (2018)?, for the 'literal' figure?
- Above comments have mostly been addressed. I've annotated to show this. Lineslarge (talk) 16:40, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
Beck / west beck confusion.
editThe section about Driffield beck confuses the Beck with the West Beck. The beck runs through town parallel to the main street into the canal at river head, while the west beck runs (clue is in the name) to the west of town, then runs alongside the canal until they both reach the river hull. West beck has fishing, the beck that goes through town has no fishing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.190.121.248 (talk) 20:11, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
