WikiProject Dinosaurs or WikiProject Amphibians and Reptiles?

Hard to say... It's not a dinosaur, just a dinosauromorph. Still, there are probably many more reptiles and amphibians than there are dinosaur articles, so it couldn't hurt us to support this article. Dunno how the others feel. Firsfron of Ronchester 20:41, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well the article has been created and edited by members of the WPDino but folks from the WP Amphibians and Reptiles are welcome to contribute as well. Could be part of both projects or is there a problem with this? Archie is supported by both the WPDino and the WPBirds. ArthurWeasley 22:41, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Not a bad idea, for 'transitional' forms (technically within the scope of one project but important to another) to fall under multiple projects. Dinoguy2 01:49, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Taxonomic Hypotheses for Dromomeron and Tawa

edit

Hello. I notice that the pages for Dromomeron and Tawa have been combined and the discussion of Dromomeron fossil material now incorporates anatomical data from specimens referred to Tawa. While I appreciate that Bennett (2015) has suggested the synonymy of the two taxa, I note that a large number of past works (e.g., Nesbitt et al., 2009; Alcober and Martinez, 2010; Brusatte et al., 2010; Langer et al., 2013) accept the taxonomic distinction. I would suggest reinstating the Tawa article with sections in both that article and the one on Dromomeron describing Bennett's new hypothesis. That way, both the broad consensus and the novel idea can be presented pending further studies. Unfortunately, I am not practiced enough in wiki-ing to accomplish this task, but I thought I would offer this suggestion.
