Hi, I'm a student interested in improving this article for a Wiki Education Foundation-supported course assignment. I noticed that there are a few ways that the article on this important topic could perhaps be improved. Specifically, more information could be included related to pathophysiology, incidence, clinical presentation, and management. Hi, I'm a student interested in improving this article for a Wiki Education Foundation-supported course assignment. I noticed that there are a few ways that the article on this important topic could perhaps be improved. Specifically, more information could be included related to pathophysiology, incidence, risk factors, clinical presentation, and management. In addition, the list of drugs known to cause drug-induced QT prolongation could be updated with information from newer sources, and information from sources in the US can be included as well (for example, cisapride is no longer used in the US). A few other suggestions might include revising the definition of QT prolongation to reflect that current sources define it differently for male and female gender. It would also be good to include more citations -- for example, the link between drug-induced QT prolongation and torsade de pointes is well known but needs to be supported with a proper citation. Another thing I noticed that could be improved on is adding the how each class of medications induces QT prolongation, rather than just listing the drugs. Unless there are any objections, I plan to make these edits to the article page. Hsamaha1 (talk) 19:54, 20 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
