Name of host
editHave we got a source for the name of Ben? I can find TJ Kirk readily in a video on their website, but I'm not watching three hours of episode to find a super or credit roll. —C.Fred (talk) 01:27, 7 December 2017 (UTC)
Based on this YouTube channel, it would appear that the host uses the mononym Ben. So, any addition of a surname or other pseudonym must comply with WP:BLP and its sourcing requirements. —C.Fred (talk) 01:38, 7 December 2017 (UTC)
- Have also been looking. Nothing definitive (concerning the name of the host in question) outside of IMDB, which cant be verified. Mononym it is--SamHolt6 (talk) 01:42, 7 December 2017 (UTC)
- An IP has persistently been adding a last name over the past week, but failing to provide a reliable source. Due to the lack of a ref, I have no idea if this is a vandal trying to add their own or a friends last name as a joke; or if it's an attempted BLP/doxing issue. Either way, without a reliable source, the content has been reverted and visibility restricted for the added text. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 00:42, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
Contested deletion
editThis page should not be speedily deleted because... (Though it is against policy, I have reverted this speedy delete before. Having checked the deletion log, this article was deleted [1] via A7 and not through an Afd. This precludes the article for deletion via a G4, which I assume the speedy nominator means to be filing.) --SamHolt6 (talk) 01:51, 7 December 2017 (UTC)
Episode list
editI recently rolled back to an earlier version of the page. The content contained unsourced info on an additional host, as well as huge chunks of episode detail that was both unsourced, and became a WP:WEIGHT issue as it vastly overwhelmed the prose in the article. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 00:56, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
- I see the material was restored, with no effort made whatsoever to address the concerns I identified. The long episode list takes up at least 80% of the article, leaving the WP:WEIGHT issue unresolved. The material clearly needs to be trimmed from this article; one option to retain the data could be to split the episode content into a WP:STANDALONE list article. This would be in-line with how episode content is handled for many television shows (see: Category:Lists of television series episodes by country for multiple examples). --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 19:01, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
Decline
editAccording to Social Blade, the Drunken Peasants peaked at over 145K subscribers from December 2017 to January 2018. After TJ Kirk left, the channel has seen a gradual decline, with just over 120K subscribers as of March 2020. Should this be noted in the article? Are there reasons besides TJ's departure for the decline? --LABcrabs (talk) 18:32, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
- Paul also left at the same time, if I recall correctly, which certainly contributed to that decline. -- Mocha2007 (talk) 02:44, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
wait, is a meantion of Paul leaving not in the article? seems awfully important Phoub327 (talk) 12:03, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
secondary sources
editI believe, and I may be wrong, that not very many people have written on this channel. therefore a secondary source for most claims cannot be provided 98.152.140.42 (talk) 11:54, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
