After 20 years of ownership, the Oberst family sold the chain in 2004 to an investment group led by W.W. "Biff" Naylor… After 31 years, Thousand Oaks was closed and was slated to be replaced by a shopping center in 1991. As of November 2020, the former Thousand Oaks location is currently occupied by The Original Pizza Cookery restaurant.’’
This doesn't quite make sense. I'm guessing the 1991 closure (or closure plan?) and subsequent replacement should come before the 2004 sale of the chain. Or did they happen concurrently? Or part of it? – AndyFielding (talk) 08:29, 19 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
