editI planning on expanding it very soon. The subject is notable in the middle east. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hakeem.gadi (talk • contribs) 04:00, 9 November 2007
Notability
editAppears to be a notable initiative. More info and sources are needed to be added. news.google.com and official website seem like good places to start. DoubleBlue (Talk) 04:41, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

"Please change Dubai Cares is a member of the United Nations Department of Global Communications (UN DGC)[3] and a registered non-government organization under IACAD
to
Dubai Cares is a civil society organization formally associated with the United Nations Department of Global Communications[1] and a registered non-government organization under IACAD ."[2] Lsayegh2 (talk) 08:55, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
Partly done: The sentence already says it's an NGO, which is a civil society organization[1], so that would be redundant. I do see, though, that even the source that's already there discusses "associated" organizations rather than members, so I've made that change, as well as removing the "History" header over paragraphs that say nothing about the organization's history, and moving that paragraph to the bottom of what is now the lead, underneath the paragraphs that explain what the organization is and does.
