Redirect from Waterfowl decoy collecting

edit

I have gone ahead and redirected Waterfowl decoy collecting to this page. A no-brainer. The two pages were complete duplicates of each other, and this is the logical title. SNALWIBMA ( talk - contribs ) 07:13, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Article is 100% collecting, 0% hunting

edit

Right now the page is 100% devoted to the field of decoy collecting, with absolutely no mention of how decoys are used in hunting (or the history of such use). As such, it desperately needs attention from a subject expert. I'd also submit that the decoy collecting information is too detailed and un-encyclopedic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.74.92.208 (talk) 19:35, 23 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Agreed, I came here wanting to learn about ancient Egyptian duck decoys. The article needs to be completely reworked. DancesWithGrues (talk) 18:56, 24 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Issues

edit
  1. The article is too centered on North America (more specifically USA, only few examples from Canada);
  2. The article deals primarily with "Duck decoy collecting and manufacturers", it says almost nothing about duck decoys itself, its history, use&c.-80.188.30.112 (talk) 10:53, 3 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
