Is the title really one of the oldest extant dukedoms? It was only created in the nineteenth century! As far as I'm aware, there are many Spanish dukedoms that date back hundreds of years - Alba, Medina Sidonia, and Medinaceli just spring to mind, but there are, as far as I know, a pretty substantial number. john k (talk) 15:51, 21 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
