It's in Marion County.

I don't want to revive any dead drama, but I noticed an edit war that went on last year about whether or not Dunnellon is entirely within Marion County.

I'm from Dunnellon. It is. The physical, IRL sign that marks Dunnellon's city limits is a good few hundred feet away from the sign that marks Marion County's borders. It is very clearly within Marion County.

To be fair, there are Dunnellon addresses that exist outside of Marion County (specifically, between Marion and Levy), but the houses those addresses belong to are also outside of the city of Dunnellon itself. They're only Dunnellon addresses because... well, they gotta belong to some town somewhere. Dunnellon is just the closest one.

So, yes, the city of Dunnellon is entirely within Marion County. I know Wikipedia doesn't like primary sources, but I still wanted to take the time to clear that up. 2601:880:8180:7A10:85A2:18D9:95C6:81A5 (talk) 03:54, 31 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
