I suggest the following addition:

Photoshop uses the term duotone to refer to monotones, tritones, and quadtones as well as duotones. In this case, duotones are grayscale images printed with two, three, and four inks. Colored inks, rather than different shades of gray, are used to reproduce tinted grays. [1]
