Series cut short

Confirmed: Netherlands team will go back home after the first match ends. Should the final two matches be counted as abandoned? Mashfi23 (talk) 12:43, 26 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

No, not yet wait until more details are finally confirmed. It has since been said that the Dutch can't get a flight until 3 Dec so they are now discussing whether the players wish to complete the series. It is not actually confirmed as abandoned at the moment. Bs1jac (talk) 13:00, 26 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
It is a developing story and Cricinfo have already edited their article to indicate that the series might still be played. Bs1jac (talk) 13:02, 26 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
The (current version of the) CI article says the tour was called off, but as the Dutch can't get a flight until 3 December, they're looking into whether the matches can be played or not. Until it's properly confirmed, we shouldn't adjust the article. Joseph2302 (talk) 13:18, 26 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
The Dutch cricket board have said - "A decision on the continuation of the series will follow in the next 24 to 48 hours, while all flight options are being considered. No other comment will be offered until a definite resolution has been reached". Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 13:41, 26 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
The CI source has literally changed itself 4 times in the last hour, so we should definitely wait for the official announcement before changing anything (as it's clear nothing is decided for sure). Hopefully it'll be in 24-48 hours. Joseph2302 (talk) 14:08, 26 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
