Fletcher and spelling
edit1. Why has Prof. Fletcher's name been taken off as the person who named the hypothesis as "Dutch hypothesis". 2. Isn't aeitology the more proper spelling? Yogesh Khandke (talk) 02:45, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- Regarding the name, I took the reference to Professor Fletcher out because there was no internal explanation in the text as to who he is. Regardipng 'aetiology' (British spelling) versus 'etiology' (American), for reasons of reader friendliness in scientific writing I prefer the simpler, American form. But no matter (and WP:ENGVAR). —MistyMorn (talk) 10:17, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- That Fletcher named the hypothesis "Dutch hypothesis" is a verifiable fact.[1] What do you wish? Regarding simplicity isn't it a matter of perception? Can we have aeitology back? Yogesh Khandke (talk) 10:27, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, done. —MistyMorn (talk) 10:40, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
