A fact from Dutch intervention in Bali (1906) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 13 August 2009 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:

Much of the information on this page claims "the notice in a bali museum" and quite literally a travel guide as valid sources of information. Might as well not have an article on this event if information is to be included that is completely fabricated as far as we know. 2A00:23C4:B424:B101:F889:D39C:A19B:3F0A (talk) 03:42, 18 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hanna is a reliable source, but there are a lot more reliable sources that need to be brought in. I'll try to work on it, another indicator that the Indonesian entries in Wikipedia are still quite variable in quality. Adrian Vickers (talk) 06:17, 6 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
OK, started work on this (need to get back in practice at how to do references). Have removed a lot of the editorialising of the main text, but there are still some more references to come. And by way of disclosure, the text from the book edited by Haer et alia was by me (although the credits only appear in small print right at the end. I had forgotten about this when I first saw it, as the original text was written in the 1990s. Adrian Vickers (talk) 08:00, 6 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
