removed unref'd statement
editThe statement about the slaughter that took place in the Arab conquest of the city came verbatim (copyright violation) from A History of Armenia, by Vahan M. Kurkjian. HOWEVER: a critical review of this work states "caution, though, is unfortunately in order. The author is clearly not a professional historian, and his book is not a scholarly work; rather, a general text based on ill assimilated (and now dated) secondary works." We'll need a much more solid reference for any estimate of the casualties.50.111.36.238 (talk) 01:01, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
