Nimesha94 Peer Review : Whatanerd1993
editNimesha94's article on the E.A. Fairbairn Water Treatment Plant is organized, concise and educational. The flow and categories fit well with the article, with neutral content, and what seems to be reliable sources. I know it is a rough draft and still in the making, my only suggestions are some minor grammar and spelling mistakes, sentence formation and a few clarifications. Below I listed some of the ones that I had to reread a few times to understand!
-Grammar, repeated words, quick little fixes!
-In Structural Issues and Further Improvement, "Many construction companies are coming in and will be involved in several parts of the construction, this construction group is one of many companies that are being brought in by the City of Sacramento to work on the treatment plan" leading into Overaa Construction sub category is somewhat confusing, I would recommend rephrasing that transition.
- Under the Sub Category of Challenges: "Another challenge is timing, the structure will ultimately require 60,000 work hours to complete. The facility can be closed for two months a year during periods of lower demand which shifts the treatment capacity." As a reader with no previous background knowledge on this facility, do you mean that every year when the lower demand occurs, this water treatment plant closes down two months out of every year? or that because of the required 60,000 works hours to complete, the plant can shut down for two months?
-Under the Sub Category of Improvements: "installing five centrifuges that are manufactured by German manufacturers Andritz, which is used to turn muddy water into sludge. Additionally, a sludge-collection system and yard piping is installed. [7] " Maybe here, if you have the information, reference what kind of structure they have currently as to clarify whether they are 'updating and replacing' current centrifuges with the new Andritz ones, or whether they are adding new ones. Same with the Sludge system, are they improving it or installing a new system?
-Under Ecology, I would recommend clarifying which treatment plant contains which type of soils. It will help ease confusion when discussing the difference in soil development between Americanos Soils and Rossmoor Soils. In addition, I have no idea what it means to be either of the soils. Maybe include a little definition of each.
All in all, good rough draft of this article! and I hope the completion of it goes smoothly :P!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Whatanerd1993 (talk • contribs) 17:41, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
