I agree. I only saw your note because I was coming to check the talk page before flagging it. I chose the non-encyclopedic tone tag rather than the non-neutral POV flag, but either way, yes, needs some less flowery language. TaigaBridge 10:11, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Joplin album

I note that the discography entry gives a question mark for the 'Plays Scott Joplin on the Pedal Harpsichord' album. I've just bought a copy of the original vinyl LP in a charity shop, and its catalogue number is CBS Classics (red label) 61478; British pressing in 1974. From the Columbia references in the other discography entries, I presume it's a CD rerelease number that should replace that question mark, hence the reason I haven't edited the article. Mr. Biggs' Credentials

No question about him being a competent organist but what degrees did Biggs have and from what schools? Musicwriter (talk) 00:45, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

degrees are usually only important to those without proven talent, but the article does (at least now) mention his studying at the Royal Academy of Music. Ken (talk) 15:28, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
