Ambush

edit

I've seen other sources (unfortunately not RS) suggest the normal DVD version actually is a mix with half East coast and half West coast and this is also what's broadcast in syndication Nil Einne (talk) 00:37, 25 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Title references

edit

Bringing this discussion over from Seasons Two and Three, since our editor has moved on. I've reverted so-called "Title references" an editor has submitting as supposedly explaining the source of the titles of given episodes. I've made attempts elsewhere as well as here to explain that his sources for these references must establish that the origin of the titles he's identifying are what the author drew from, not simply supporting his conjecture as to the scriptwriters' intent, as he persists in doing. (See talk page for Season 2.) Although the origins of some titles are reasonably common-sense, others are more ambiguous, and regardless, absent a source documenting the intention of the episode writer, are WP:OR, and as such, have been reverted. His claims it "doesn't work like that" whatever that might mean, but the onus is on him to establish reliable sources that support his contention that the origin of the title is what he claims. Thusfar, he had not only failed to do so, but refuses to acknowledge the need to do so. Moreover, he declines to participate in any discussion, but rather uses edit summaries to hurl uncivil insults. Add Dan Hedaya as Notable guest for the season?

edit

Dan Hedaya is credited with appearing in Episodes 8-10 of Season 4 as Herb Spivak, a lawyer, although he is only mentioned in the first episode (8) in this article. However, he comes back in Season 11 as the same character intending to sue someone, but ends up a patient. He is probably the "top-notch attorney who agrees to handle [Mark Greene's] lawsuit in exchange for a day of playing doctor in the ER." Dr. Greene's legal troubles end in episode 10. I suppose he could also be added as a Notable Guest in Season 11, although he apprars n only one episode.

Dan Hedaya also played Nick Tortelli, the ex-husband of Carla Tortelli, the long term waitress at Sam's bar, then briefly starred in his own spin-off series, The Tortellis. He is a character actor who has appeared in several movies, some comedies, and just about every detective/law & order/police series. Ileanadu (talk) 01:51, 1 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
