Number of models, and name of assaulted woman?
editI just finished reading this today (and not for the first time). In my version, there are SIX models for the shoot on Mauritius (one breast implant explosion, one case of heatstroke, two injured in a jetski accident, and two down with botulism poisoning). I'd go in and just fix the number, but another discrepancy in the plot summary makes me wonder if there were two different printings in which some details were changed...
...the other detail being the identity of the famous woman who gets assaulted by the client on Mauritius. The article as it stands says it's "television presenter Gloria Hunniford", makes reference to the "Hunniford Affair", and goes into detail about her being there to shoot a BBC holiday show. In the version of the book I own, the woman is Ivana Trump and she is on Mauritius purely as a vacation.
Both are some pretty major, plot-significant differences that would involve more than the author just changing a couple words here and there. I can see why the Ivana Trump change might have been made but changing the number of models is inexplicable. If two different versions of the book were released, with different details, I think that's also worth noting in the article. Does anyone know? Mine is the October 2000 printing by Plume, an imprint of Penguin Putnam.
Finally, I've added Harriet Greenbaum to the list of characters as she plays a fairly major role, but I confess I don't know what her job title is.76.251.233.231 (talk) 23:45, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
