• I am afraid this is some way from GA. Preliminary comments:
• The lead is too short. An article of this length would normally have a lead of a couple of (short) paragraphs.
• There is no source given for much of the article. All (apart from the lead) should be referenced.
• Original sources are cited and quoted. This is WP:OR as Wikipedia articles should be based on secondary sources.
• The sources are not in alphabetical order.
• The external links do not appear to be reliable sources.
• It would be worth looking at Simon Keynes's DNB article on Eadric at [1]. If you are a member of a UK public library, your card number will give you access to this.

• Note: As an editor has used the (very helpful) Template:Sfn for most of the citations, it would be better if they were all in this format for consistency. However this is not a requirement for GAN if you are not happy using the template. Dudley Miles (talk) 23:52, 25 November 2014 (UTC)
