Two sources have Mr Harrist being born in April; the others have him being born in August. Somebody has put his date of death at 1 September in Wikipedia, but that seems to be spurious, as all available sources list his death date as 7 September. But the birth month needs to be resolved. @Spray787: I have revised the death date so both birth and death dates are from the same source (baseball-reference.com). As summary of the dates as of today, is as follows:
Birth date: April 20, 1919 (baseball-reference.com, retrosheet.org), August 2, 1919 (thebaseballcube.com), August 20, 1919 (baseball-almanac.com, mlb.com)
Death date: September 1, 1998 (thebaseballcube.com), September 7, 1998 (baseball-almanac.com, baseball-reference.com, mlb.com, retrosheet.org)
