Improvements
editThis article article could be improved by addressing the following:
- every paragraph needs an in line citation;
- the article needs to be broken in to a number of sections, with an introductory section that summarises the whole article (sections could be: Early life; Military career; Personal life; Later life;
- could an infobox be added with details of the subject's career;
- the focus of the article is currently just on who he married, as a military history article it needs to focus more on his career rather than his personal life;

Notability
editIf he is described as a pioneer, we ought to know what his contribution was. Also, it looks a bit odd that he was married five times, but only four wives are named. Where did the fifth one fit in? Valetude (talk) 13:45, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
