Panthera leo nubica / massaica
editAccording to Allen (1939) Blainville described Panthera leo nubicus in 1843 from Nubia, which is not considered part of Eastern Africa, whereas the Massai lion Panthera leo massaica was described by Neumann from the Tanganyika Territory (Allen 1939: p. 244), which today is part of Tanzania in Eastern Africa. -- BhagyaMani (talk) 08:34, 21 December 2013 (UTC)

Who said that "Eastern Africa" is incorrect?
editYou can check it out here, "Eastern Africa" is correct. There are even references for that, and besides, why not use 'Eastern' next to 'Southern' or 'Central'? Leo1pard (talk) 13:15, 21 November 2017 (UTC)
- There is a big difference between South and Southern Africa, just in case you didn't yet know. Where as an int link to Eastern Africa is redirected to East Africa. So what's the advantage of using the redirect link in the first place?
- I do know that South Africa is a country, whereas Southern Africa is a region. The point is grammar, when you have "Central Africa" or "Southern Africa" in a sentence, and you want to talk about other regions of Africa in it, then it makes sense to say "Central, Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western Africa," and one should not use "Center Africa" for Central Africa. Why I merged Tsavo lion into East African lion
editAdmixture
editAs mentioned in the main talk-page, the northern subspecies is also present here, and likely overlaps with the southern subspecies here.[1][2] Leo1pard (talk) 17:12, 27 September 2018 (UTC)

About "Attacks on humans" section
edit@BhagyaMani: Well, you are insisting and reverting my edits (as in article Central African lion) by pointing to "WP:PATT". I don't see that I've broken any rule, but if I've copied it then I want to say that this section belongs to the "East African lion", and I have changed that a bit. But I want to know, why do you want to do bad things at article, and to be justified by pointing your finger at others? — Punetor i Rregullt5 (talk) 19:07, 1 November 2018 (UTC)
- These are NOT your contributions, but you COPY-PASTED info that other wiki editors initially provided in other lion pages. If you want to duplicate their contributions, then follow the instructions in WP:PATT. Read them carefully! As mentioned already in your talk page, I have never experienced such a gross disrespect of other wiki editors in the over 500 pages on my watchlist. -- BhagyaMani (talk) 19:21, 1 November 2018 (UTC)
- @BhagyaMani: The WP: PATT clearly says:
“ | If the paragraph you are going to copy has more than one contributor then you should write in the discussion page about it so that other contributors should not move. | ” |
So tell me now, why you are insisting? Do you are a vendalism? I don't know this, but don't move the section anymore! — Punetor i Rregullt5 (talk) 05:37, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
- So far you failed to provide an edit summary: you neither stated which wiki editors provided this info initially nor where nor when. Instead, you just keep on ignoring the WP: PATT instructions. This is very disrespectful to fellow wiki editors!! -- BhagyaMani (talk) 07:26, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
"See also"
editAs per WP:SEEALSO, you're not supposed to have links in the section "See also", if they are present above. Also, there is no need to put [[]] around self-links. Leo1pard (talk) 04:47, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
