This page is bullshit.
It basically sounds like it was written as propaganda.
Performance
I can't remember who it was who said, when I was going to East way back when, that when one's next stop after East was either Harvard or Attica. Still, this section seems to say both things without clarification, looks self-contradictory. Also the section underneath about the racial composition where it talks about discrimination is an unsourced opinion, not the dry facts needed for an encyclopedia. That section also contradicts itself, with talk of mixed-race friend groups getting along easily in the paragraph above the one about tension and discrimination.
