editEvery ride I had on the Eastern Shuttle in the 1970s and 80s was on a 727, not a DC-9. The claim that first sections from 1967 forward were DC-9s is inaccurate. All of the aircraft that passed into the Trump Shuttle were 727s. I'm not changing the text until I can cite a source, but for now, I challenge the author of that photo label to cite a source. - I didn't write that, but I can say that the rides I had on the Shuttle were on DC-9s in the mid-1970s and then on 727s in and around 1980. If you look at Newspapers.com, you will find stories that bear this transition out, for example this one from 1976 and this one from 1980, I'm sure there are more.
