Suggestions for rewrite

edit

ButterthatBacon, you're doing a great job, but, while you're at it, I have one more suggestion for you. As the article stands, it is going to have problems because it's written from an "in universe" instead of "out of universe" perspective. (See the Wikipedia guidelines for writing about fiction for a full explanation of the difference).

If you're still motivated, I would suggest making another pass to include enough out of universe framing to make clear that you're writing about a fictional universe, something like:

The Ebony Blade is a fictional weapon in the Marvel comic book universe. Created in 1966 by writer Rob Liefeld, the Blade has typically functioned as the main source of powers for most of the various characters bearing the name "the Black Knight."

Thanks, and good work, TheronJ 18:15, 20 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for suggestions, help needed

edit

Thanks for the suggestion. The article was already written from such a perspective, though my expansion makes it more apparent. I've added a few details. But I don't have much time to spend on this, so while I'll continue to make small edits here and there, I could use help. Especially in the formatting. I've included citations where I can, but I'm not all that familiar on the format that things should be in. I'm planning on revamping the curse section, as well as the powers section. I'd also like to add a list of wielders of the Blade. But like I said, I could use more help.
