Talk:Economic history of Somalia

This thing reeks of bias! I know this might be a crazy idea for a Wikipedia article but has anyone considered writing an actual account of the economy in Somalia instead of using the article as a soapbox to shout about whatever crazy pet economic theory they happen to have, whether its Socialism or An-Cap or whatever?!? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.126.25.46 (talk) 11:49, 5 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

What about include the anarchist period of his economic history? What about their economy nowadays? Isn't it important? This article give the impression that economy will only exist at all if they has a government!

Take a look on this, is a very interesting data: http://www.peterleeson.com/Better_Off_Stateless.pdf

This article is a basically a copy of chapter 5 in Somalia: Nation in Search of a State (1987), the headings are exactly the same as the book and the text is a copy too, with bits replaced and things added. Explains why it doesn’t cover the last 20 years of anarchy and the informal economy, and why it is biased; only one source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.210.123.92 (talk) 16:16, 11 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
