Please don't speedy delete articles without having a fair discussion about the supposed lack of value of such an article. - Jinx4848 21:47, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

This artist has engineered and produced records for Busdriver, for example, which makes him a notable name in the industry. He has also influenced a school of thought on a very new sub genre of electronica known as Glitch. Both the artist and the genre have an article in wikipedia.

After your recent edits, it does look like he's notable (although that wasn't clear earlier). (But by the way, WP:WAX isn't the best argument against deletion... although that's rather a moot point). --Bfigura (talk) 21:57, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

As for the URB Next 100 reference-- the only one I can find is that on his myspace and various relatively unofficial sources online. I'll see if I can find a copy of the issue and cite it by its issue number. Jinx4848 —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 22:04, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:EdIT battling.jpg

edit

Image:EdIT battling.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

move the page to edIT (musician). He is known as edIT. Jawadreventon (talk) 23:25, 23 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Jawadreventon

edit

Jawadreventon added unsourced material and removed the references I added. (See [1] and [2]) So I undid his edits per WP:BLPREMOVE. Also, the user added notability tag and primary sources tag. But edIT is notable now because he has been "the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent from the musician or ensemble itself" (WP:BAND). And I removed the sources Jawadreventon added recently because it is WP:USERG. And again, "Do not use articles from Wikipedia or from websites that mirror its content as sources, because this would amount to self-reference" (WP:CIRCULAR). 122.29.10.128 (talk) 00:55, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

There is also a copyright problem, I think. 122.29.10.128 (talk) 02:30, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
why do you continuously remove his appearence in Need for Speed: Nitro?? that's notable. Jawadreventon (talk) 17:58, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Even after I said "See WP:CIRCULAR," You used articles from Wikipedia as sources and added unreferenced or poorly referenced information again.
And again, the source you added is a self-published source. Wikipedia articles should be based on reliable sources. 118.8.23.204 (talk) 04:02, 21 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
