I added his reaction to the mistaken identity with "fast eddie." I think it's important that this page say that he wasn't the sexual predator that the casual researcher might find. I think his reaction is the best way as it doesn't sound defensive in any way. --Tbeatty03:45, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Per WP:BLP, the versions that accused this eddie johnson of the pedophile crime have been purged and those references removed. The edit comment is still there but hte actual accusations have been removed from the history.--Tbeatty22:23, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello. It says that Johnson played for the New Orleans Hornets from 1993-94. Shouldn't this be the Charlotte Hornets, as the Hornets had not made the move to New Orleans yet? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.98.34.126 (talk) 00:04, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Oppose. Three of the guiding principles of WP:AT are naturalness, precision and conciseness. In my opinion, Eddie L. Johnson is more natural, precise and concise than Eddie Johnson (basketball, born 1959). Jenks24 (talk) 05:05, 1 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Support, taking people's word for it that these people are rarely referred to using their middle initials (which means that the current titles might be more concise, but are no more precise, and are less natural and recognizable, than the proposed ones).--Kotniski (talk) 10:20, 9 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
