IPA
editWhat language is the IPA in? Clearly not English, which doesn't have /nk-/ onsets or word-final /a/. The actual English pronunciation seems to be /əŋˈketiə/ (/ɪŋ-/?).

Ghana switch?
editShould we add the fact that he is (allegedly) considering a switch to Ghana for the World Cup? Crystalpalace6810 (talk) 06:56, 10 May 2022 (UTC)
- And who just deleted it
- Crystalpalace6810 (talk) 05:51, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Crystalpalace6810: Me. We shouldn't include things that are 'alleged' in a Wikipedia biography. If it does become official that he's pledged for Ghana, *then* mention it by all means. Mattythewhite (talk) 14:06, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
That’s why I’ve said alleged Crystalpalace6810 (talk) 14:21, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Crystalpalace6810: As I said, it shouldn't be included if it's only 'alleged'. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:20, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
- OK, fair point. Am I allowed to mention that he's just scored 4 goals in 4 games?

Crystal Palace transfer
editAfter more than 160 appearances for his boyhood club, Eddie Nketiah has finally departed Arsenal as a move away from the North London club was confirmed on Friday night just a few minutes before the transfer window deadline passed. According to reports, Crystal Palace agreed a deal with Arsenal that saw the 25-year-old talent depart in a move worth a total of €35 million - with €30m being paid up-front and an additional €5m in add-ons. The move will take Arsenal’s income from player sales this summer to €61m and their net spend in the transfer window to just €15.1m. "It's amazing to sign for Crystal Palace – I'm excited to get going," said the striker in a club statement on the Palace website. "Every time I come back to South London, it always puts a smile on my face, so it’s good to be back home.” Toblerone101 (talk) 11:39, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
