editAlphonse De Chateaubriant is an unusual person to list given his near-total obscurity today. He is chiefly known as a Nazi collaborator because of his work on La Gerbe.
This article has an aquivalent in hebrew - you may link it - I dont know how. Tomer
"most prestigious"
editI don't believe that the prix goncourt should be described as "the most prestigious." "Prestigious" is a subjective term. As such it would be like saying "people like flowers" or "Stalin was not a nice guy." No doubt both statements are facts, but neither should be included in wikipedia articles. Van Gogh
editVincent Van Gogh greatly admired at least two of Goncourt's works, one of them being La fille Elisa, 1877. Van Gogh mentioned Goncourt's works in his letters and one of his still life paintings shows three books, one of them being La fille Elisa. A from L.A. (talk) 08:30, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
