The Edna Howland Wikipedia article and associated Wikimedia Gallery are the culmination of project whose goal was to put unique vaudeville materials in the public domain for the benefit of Rhode Island and the world. This project is supported by a grant from the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. The Council seeds, supports, and strengthens public history, cultural heritage, civic education, and community engagement by and for all Rhode Islanders.
