Current number of schools (as of 2022-3)
editThe number of schools in the West Virginia Board of Education section hasn't been updated since the section was established in 2006. It's been given as a static 834 for the past 18 years (when that number was more or less current), but WV's DoE data for public schools as of the 2022-3 school year only list 618. There have been a large number of closures and consolidations that have never been reflected by this article. Enwilson (talk) 15:46, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
