Edward Behr died on May 27 2007 at the age of 81. He was the author of numerous books, ranging from "The Last Emperor," a classic, to "Anyone Here Been Raped and Speak English," also in its own way a classic. I met him in Hong Kong and Vietnam during Tet 1968 offensive when he was with Newsweek -- before he had written most of his books.
