Newest book?
editI hoped this book "The Eucharist" is his latest, but it might just be a reprint of a 1948 book according to the publisher site. ISBNs: 0722034903, 0860124002 http://www.continuumbooks.com/Authors/detail.aspx?ReturnURL=/Search/advanced.aspx&CountryID=2&ImprintID=1&AuthorID=146301 MichaelSHoffman 06:58, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
Erasmus Prize
editIf you get into the Erasmus Prize Page, you'll see that Romano Guardini won the award some years before. This makes Schillebeeckx at least the second theologian to win the award. Dave Meta 00:11, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- I agree that the statement is incredibly dubious. Martin Buber won the award decades before and his work in mysticism and theology, particularly Jewish theology, has been incredibly influential. I study theology and Buber is looked at about as much as Barth or Bultmann or anyone else. I really don't see how the statement in the article does any justice to Schillebeeckx or the Erasmus prize.
