An IP on 2012-02-02 and then a registered editor on 2012-02-17 have tried to restore an older version of the article by that same registered editor (dated 2010-05-19). In doing so, they have undone the work of all more recent editors, including some good copy editing, the addition of five references (whereas the May 2010 version had zero references), and have reintroduced some very florid POV praise such as "he advanced party discipline to a previously unachieved level, resulting in a dramatic change of fortunes in the success of the GOP statewide", "The corollary to Jaeckle's integrity was good old-fashioned budgeting", just for a couple of examples. Before reverting to the named editor's old version yet again, could they please explain why they think their old version is an improvement on the version arrived at by editors since then? --Stfg (talk) 19:48, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
