The alleged involvement with an American woman is potentially libelous or damaging to either party if not presented carefully. Although sometimes relevant, the private life of a public person should not be given undue emphasis. Aymatth2 (talk) 01:47, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
The woman in question, Cheryl Uzamere, has broadcast her claims through letters to numerous public officials and a website, http://www.thecrimesofsenatoruzamere.com (In fact I first came here looking for a wiki article about her.) The controversy, at least, is public. The trick would be balancing her side of the story and his (not to speak of miscellaneous lawyers and public officials whom she characterizes as participants in a vast Jewish conspiracy).Dawud (talk) 02:26, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Cheryl Uzamere's website cannot be considered reliable, but a court has decided that there is substance to her claims and that should be covered. My view is that the subject's public career is far more important than their private life. An article on John Kennedy or Bill Clinton should cover their sexual indiscretions, but not discuss them in excessive detail. It is only a small part of their impact on the world.
