Who and why added the deletion suggestion for this article? The killing of Einat Haran was documented in world wide media 30 years ago and is still discussed in the media these days. There are THOUSANDS of documents concerning that. It is a notable issue that requires an article. On.Elpeleg (talk) 21:15, 13 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Can you please provide links to these thousands of documents? Would be very appreciated. De728631 (talk) 21:21, 13 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Most of all, see WP:MEMORIAL and WP:ONEEVENT. Is there any notable biographical info on Haran that isn't related to her death? If a person is notable only in terms of his/her death, then there is not ground for having a separate biographical wikiarticle. --Soman (talk) 21:26, 13 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Please block Soman, Soman feels insulted in the Samir_Kuntar talk page, when he was explained that Samir Kuntar is no Nelson Mandela and smashing of toddlers heads is not considered as a heroic act in civilized nations.. (here he meant that this claim is racism, his very own words). Please block this Soman so he gets time to do homework on this issue. The references will come. I just want more admins to see this abuse by Soman first. —Preceding unsigned comment added by On.Elpeleg (talkcontribs) 21:31, 13 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
The only thing I see here as an abusive request to delete the article motivated by political and ideological means and not of concerns for WP or its readers. It is very sad but also very true. A search on "worst terror attack in Israel's history and Einat Haran" terms, would show how notable this article is. No, this does not mean that EVERY victim of terror is notable for an article, but in this case we talk about "the worst", the "most brutal", and this is notable. All because it was Einat Haran being 4 years old and the way she was murdered. It is unbelievable that the very same poster of the "delete request" is trying to convince in other places on WP that murdering of Einat was essential for political needs, while he is requesting deleting the article here, it is very difficult for me to assume good faith of his cause in this instance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by On.Elpeleg (talkcontribs) 12:53, 15 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Doron Golan was a baby when this photo was taken place, he works as a photographer in ynet.co.il and mfa.gov.il was greatfull for his kindness in providing the photo for their article, nothing more nothing less. This photo was taken by Smadar Haran, the mother of Einat and it is distributed freely (tv, papers and else) since the very first week the murder took place. I am removing the note about it from the article. You can see the photo in another version here: www.samirkuntar.net note the stamp on the top hand left side (news report on the Israeli national TV), showing the photo provided by Smadar for the public to see her murdered family. You may have also noticed that this was bed time photo, you don't really think that one week before her family was murdered, she would call a professional photographer from a famous newspaer (which was about 5 years old then...) to take this photo. Can we start getting serious? —Preceding unsigned comment added by On.Elpeleg (talkcontribs) 22:28, 15 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
