information is unrelated to the sports career

edit

Hello Malcolmxl5! I would like to request an edit in the section on Ekaterina Geynish's sports career to ensure clarity and relevance. Specifically, I propose the following clarification: "Political context should not be included in information related to Ekaterina's sports career. The article should focus exclusively on her athletic achievements. If additional context is deemed necessary, then both the impact of COVID-19 and Ekaterina's schooling should also be indicated." Including this clarification will help readers understand that the article remains focused on her sports career, without introducing unrelated or selective contextual details. Thank you very much for your assistance with this edit!

Please change: Following the end of the 2021–22 figure skating season, Geynish teamed up with Dmitrii Chigirev.[1] Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, all Russian figure skaters were banned from competing at international competitions.[2] Geynish and Chigirev therefore only competed at the 2022 Senior Russian Cup Grand Prix stages 2 and 5, placing fifth at both events.[3]

I don't think so, this information is incorrect.

Why are you publishing false information?

The pair Geynish / Mironov ceased to exist only in May 2022. In February 2022, the pair Geynish / Mironov were still performing together. There is additional information that the pair Geynish / Chigirev united in August 2022 and trained in Turkey in Çerkizköy. https://vk.com/video108697451_456239151

Katya and Dima were unable to qualify for the 2023 Russian Championship because they took a low place. A low rating did not give them a chance to qualify for international competitions.

Additionally. Katya was in school at the time, preparing for exams, and had no plans to perform outside of Russia. Since Dima and Katya became partners at the end of 2022, they had no quota to perform outside of Russia.

Edit: Due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, all Russian figure skaters were banned from competing internationally.[11]

True: Katya and Dima had a low ranking in 2022, a very low ranking, and were unable to compete in other events.

Be honest!
