Removed reference to Mohammed Bennouna

edit

I have removed the link that was to Mohammed Bennouna. The one that is present on wikipedia is a diplomat, while the article here talks about another Mohammed Bennouna who was a member of the Moulay Bouazza revolt of 1973.

Facts!

edit
  • This article is full of dilettantism. It's like a story freely told by a Polisario sympathisant.
  • Almost every line must be sourced.
  • There is a big contradiction in that section: How can a movement remain a "relatively small organization of perhaps 800 fighters" but control the core of the desert and force spain to "retreat into the major coastal cities"?
  • Unsourced information will be removed.

Some of the content that was added here doesn't make sense:

  • With regard to the anfas article, the source advances a theory and makes a number of contradictory claims, such "the article in Anfas does not list any author", "if it can be assumed that El-Ouali had a significant role in either informing or writing the article", "according to one interviewee, the research and writing was largely done by a 23 Mars member named Mohamed Lmarini".
  • Linking to the Arabic article (that he may or may not have written) proves nothing and serves no purpose.
  • Even if we are to assume that he wrote the article (I don't see how given the above), the sentence that was cherry picked (out of context) from it is confusing at best.

While the source could be useful, the theory about the anfas article is best mentioned in the Anfas article. M.Bitton (talk) 17:30, 18 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
