After initially writing the article, and then thoroughly rewriting it twice after being rejected, I basically give up on it. I tried to write and rewrite it in the most natural way possible and used several well established and respected history sources, and yet the reviewers were unsatisfied. I have no idea what is going on, since I feel that the article is no different than countless of other accepted articles about specific persons, and since I feel that the reviewers are probably not even familiar with the given history topic to have an expertise to judge the content itself.
