Hi editors. Perhaps I'm not the only one who thinks the exhibitions list is excessive? Most major artists do not have lists this long on their Wikipedia pages. Perhaps it can be condensed down to major exhibitions and major works. While all works could be considered notable by her, I think a smaller selection would make this article more user friendly. The collection of external links and bibliography provide a great opportunity for those seeking to learn more about her work to do so easily. Thanks for contributing to the art world of Wikipedia! Just in case there's any doubt about this, here's a passage from the huge block of text added on 19 September 2010 with this edit:

Eleanor attended Music and Art High School in New York as an art major, and City College of New York (CCNY), where she majored in writing and minored in art. From 1954–1956 she studied philosophy at the New School for Social Research and acted at the Tamara Daykarhonova School for the Stage. She was registered in Actors’ Equity and worked as an actress under the stage name Eleanor Barrett. In her last year of college she took a job with a traveling road company as an actor in William Inge’s Bus Stop. During this period, 1955–1958, Antin worked in various projects on the stage, including a stint with Ossie Davis, and supported herself modeling for painters

And here's a passage from the Jewish Women's Archive (archived on 15 June 2010):

Eleanor Fineman attended Music and Art High School in New York as an art major, and City College of New York (CCNY), where she majored in writing and minored in art. From 1954–1956 she studied philosophy at the New School for Social Research and acting at the Tamara Daykarhonova School for the Stage. She was registered in Actors’ Equity and worked as an actress under the stage name Eleanor Barrett. In her last year of college she decided to quit school and take a job with a traveling road company as an actor in William Inge’s Bus Stop. During this period, 1955–1958, Antin worked briefly as an actress for Ossie Davis and supported herself modeling for painters Isabel Bishop (1902–1988), Moses Soyer (1899–1974) and husband and wife artists Jack Levine (b. 1915) and Ruth Gikow.

They are not identical, but they are indubitably unacceptably close. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 21:06, 5 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

The citations on this page are a mess -- a combination between inline cites and grouped citations in the references section. I would like to correct this and put the citations inline like I see most articles have it done. I see the benefits being that method easier to edit and also that it seems to be the consensus of editing styles. But don't want to do it without checking here first. -- Erika aka BrillLyle (talk) 09:02, 12 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
