The place of birth being Georgetown, KY doesn't seem to be sourced. The Harvard finding aid referenced states born in NYC. Searches on ancestry.com all point to birthplace of at least NY state (census, etc.) and sometimes NYC (passenger list). Absent a citable source, place of birth seems more likely NYC.
