Among his latest works are the series dedicated to Spain “Made in Spain”, with a particular irony for those cultural myths and folk that habitually people has seen and has related to his country. In “Made in Maroc”, another one of his series and the place where he remained for about four months, the painter puts his look in the 19th century, where the Odalisques and the Pashas are founded, without solution of continuity, with the most recent Morocco. In “Goddesses” he reinterprets the classic ones that have served, and serve, as a source of inspiration for many artists. Thus, beginning from the naked acquaintance of Giorgione “Slept Venus”, that later so much would influence in Tiziano and Manet, he carries out, supporting the compositive model, an evolution in the time and in the subject matter, that makes a change, for the eyes of the modern spectator, in the last message that the Venus transmits, more similar to our times in those who have disappeared the idyllic landscapes and now the “Venus” appears in all their brilliance in a beach, where everyone can see they, or shelter in the intimacy of their houses, to offer their services connecting to the net. In the series “They”, of 2007, he reflects with humour the critiques of the routine of day after day, at the same time that thin and biting irony, less cutting than tender, seem to demonstrate his empathy with the small Apocalypse that every person experiences daily. The painter likes to play with the urban codes, accompanying them with explanatory titles, of letter, where the idea, poetical and sensitive, is the one that prevails. The last one of all these series, called “The Family”, in which the artist, beginning from the familiar core and inspired by the photography of the 20th century, carries out, across the portrait, the evolution of a society and a culture that not differs too much from the one that was already described in the picaresque novel. He has realized different reinterpretations of classics, producing thus an honoring to all those painters and/or works for that he has felt attracted, being of special relevancy the series “Saints and Martyrs”, with the look put in the Romanesque, for which the painter feels a special admiration.[citation needed] Netherzone (talk) 00:58, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

The mononym makes things hard, as you mentioned @Netherzone. I wonder if we can determine whether this is him. It appears to be a different artist from the pieces shown on p 14-15 here. This doesn't appear to be an RS, but from what it says of where he's held, I don't think he meets N:ARTIST. I think there's a viable case for GNG so I'd say it's worth continued work. We have enough eyes on it from the thread on David's Talk, and this at least keeps it from G13. I'll try to spend some time on it as well to see what I can dig up. I'm fairly convinced Eleazar Sanchez is a different artist - here is that artist's website:[1]; here is mononymic Eleazar's website:[2], the difference in the work is vast. I agree the blog is not a RS. There is another list of collections on his website[3] which parallels the list on the blog. I checked these out earlier - the problem is that they are unverifiable, and the collections themselves are not notable; I think for NARTIST #4 what is needed are museum or national gallery collections.
As far as improving the sourcing per GNG, this page on his website has scans of many reviews:[4] and there is also this:[5]. I was looking for the actual newspaper articles online one by one for verifiability but his scans are very small files which makes it slow going, but at least we know the names of the newspapers where they appeared. Bingo! An in-depth academic paper: [6] in what seems to be a credible journal, Creneida: Journal of Hispanic Literatures published in Córdoba:[7]. My Spanish skills are elementary, so this will be slow going. Netherzone (talk) 17:32, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
ooh, amazing. I have some rusty Spanish. Will see what I can do tomorrow. Star Mississippi 02:17, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
I've moved this to article space after developing to the best of my abilities. It's short but all content has been sourced and verified. Netherzone (talk) 05:03, 30 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
