Has Yamaha Discontinued the Electone? There are no more links to it on the Yamaha US Site. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.150.10.200 (talkcontribs) 2006-07-23T23:29:41 (UTC)

No, Yamaha just discontinued the American version of the newer electones. The STAGEA, D-Deck, EL-900, etc, can stil be purchased in Japan. There are some people who will import electones from Japan or China, although Japanese models need a power converted to bring voltage down from 110 volts to 100. There is a museum of electones on Electone.com Dr G 17:15, 9 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Its a pitty that yamaha discontinued the sells around world. I have an el7 from 90s. The STAGEA is more like a profesional-electone than the amateur-home-electone el old series. Since i saw what STAGEA can do with pro-hands in youtube.

i could inmagine why of that, lack of teachers, not a wide market so they decided that to give only to profesionals, etc ... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.97.224.11 (talkcontribs) 2008-02-05T06:47:3 (UTC)

Model history

edit

I think that this wiki needs a model history with features. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.97.224.11 (talk) 12:47, 5 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'll work on that. Dr G (talk) 20:51, 15 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

The external links are pretty POV, huh?

On a completely unrelated note, does anyone think this article needs pictures? Because I have an El-100. Which I love. I was about to buy a stagea when we moved to NZ :(.... but now I have an antique piano as well, so all goods I guess... SS(Kay) 07:23, 3 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Written like an advertisement

Some sections of this article are written like an advertisement. I don't know what the template is for that, though, so I haven't marked it.199.212.11.97 (talk) 00:21, 1 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

What about the HE series?

edit

I am thinking of buying one, and came here looking for basic features/comparisons. Guess I need a more dedicated site... Shannock9 (talk) 01:13, 27 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
