- I have never heard the term 'effective resistance'. Perhaps it is a foreign expression for something known to English speakers by another name. If so, the article needs deleting. Could this be referring to dynamic resistance?

- This article is confusing to most users because the variable 'P' here refers to voltage, whereas it is usually referred to as V —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.53.79.185 (talk) 22:50, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
