Major engineering branches?

edit

The article states that the three pillars of engineering are electrical, mecanical and civil engineering, which seems questionable.--79.116.86.109 (talk) 11:34, 3 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Useless list?

edit

The list of schools in this article appears to be an invitation for linkspam. Is there any objection to removing it? Krushia (talk) 21:46, 5 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

I just removed it. Place objections here. Krushia (talk) 03:58, 22 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sahana's Peer Review

edit

This article provides a very good outline of Electromechanics, and is a good general overview. My suggestions for improvement are:

  • Have a stronger first sentence, it does not truly encompass all of electromechanics.
  • Have more citations in the introduction. I believe that there are no citations in the second or third paragraph.
  • Have more subheadings. I think the history is a good section, but the modern practice could be split up to include more specific examples.
  • Talk more about the science and engineering that goes into electromechanics.
  • Add a section for what the future holds, and include the last paragraph of the modern practice in there.

My suggestions for grammar are:

  • Use a comma in the second sentence of the first paragraph before "and how the two disciplines interact with each other."
  • I believe that the second sentence of the second paragraph is too long and a bit confusing.

The article is a good start, but I think it would be greatly enhanced with more content and re-organization. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smaravarman (talkcontribs) 17:29, 21 April 2018 (UTC) - Sahana Maravarman — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smaravarman (talkcontribs) 16:59, 21 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
