pulse-width modulation on Gnat?

The article says that the Gnat has pulse-width modulation and therefore has a fatter sound than the Wasp, however this picture and this picture show that the Wasp has knobs controlling the pulse-width while no such knob can be seen on this picture of the Gnat so apparently someone mixed the two up.
