I noticed that many of the links added by User:Ziheng_Zhang have become generic redirects. These are from http://www.itl.nist.gov and http://www.e-authentication.gov.hk. I marked them as dead links - you can see in the reference section which ones they are.Timtempleton (talk) 17:09, 28 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 8 external links on Electronic authentication. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Sections and references added

edit

I added several sections (e.g. history, authentication factors and schemes, perspectives, etc.) to round up the post. Also I complemented references where needed. Aftwares I deleted the Refimprove tag. I did not touch the section on electronic credentials. It does not have any references and appears to me rather like original knowledge. Does anybody have a reference to substantiate the statements? Otherwise perhaps better delete it.

Adding content on Biometrics for Voter Registration

edit

Does anybody here consider that the following content about Biometrics for Voter Registration and Voter Identification Draft:Biometric_voter_registration could go in this article? It is currently a draft. As I didn’t find such information in Wikipedia I decided to go for it, research and create the first version. I apologise if this is not the right place to ask for this. But I would like some of your opinions, as I am not sure whether this information would be worthier to be added in Electronic_authentication, or should I rather try to add it in other articles such as Voter registration or Biometrics? or create a RfC? Any thoughts (and suggestions) would be very much appreciated! Thank you!E-DemSnoopy (talk) 23:29, 18 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

UPDATE: The Biometric voter registration draft was accepted as a new WP article by its own Biometric voter registration, so I will only be linking both articles, instead of copying any content. Thanks!E-DemSnoopy (talk) 12:04, 20 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Use of electronic authorization in medical field

edit

I propose deleting the section "Use of electronic authorization in medical field". This section has poor grammar, no references, and does not provide any information directly related to the article. Instead, it discusses the need for authentication and authorization in one specific field of life, ignoring all other fields. It sticks out like a sore thumb and contributes nothing.
