Electrostatic lenses are made from solid matter, so that it can be set to a particular voltage. It is generally made with a thin metal, such as Copper, than can be used in high vacuum without detrimental side effects. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.215.225.121 (talk) 17:58, June 29, 2007 (UTC)
